I’m not one for sharing my sadness publicly, but what is happening in my family right now is just weighing on me so heavy. My dear nephew, Dusty, has been battling with Cystic Fibrosis his whole life and recently the disease has gotten the better of him. He’s been in the hospital for a couple weeks, the doctors are saying this is very likely his final fight. My family are all about to be together for Thanksgiving, in Florida and we’ll unfortunately be preparing to say our goodbyes to him as well. I don’t want to give up hope until it’s over, but I am a realist at heart. To find some positive in this heartbreaking situation, I want to say I’m so grateful to science & medicine for giving us the time that we’ve had with Dusty, thanks to the great commitment of Shands Hospital and Dusty’s will to fight for his health. Cystic Fibrosis is a horrible disease to watch someone suffer through, if you ever have the opportunity/interest in helping to support research, please donate however you can. It’s only through support, research and care that we can one day beat CF. Thanks to everyone who has offered your wishes & hearts to my family.
I’m interested! Looked up your website & it looks like some great stuff. Please get in touch with me on Twitter, and we’ll exchange emails. :) https://twitter.com/LissaPunch
